The clients at Awespired are youth, young adults, adults, parents, educators, clinical trainees, and school leaders. Whether you're navigating anxiety, parenting challenges, burnout, or system-wide transformation, I'll tailor our work to meet your unique needs and goals.
Counseling or therapy is a therapeutic process that focuses on emotional healing, self-understanding, and mental health. It often involves exploring past experiences and internal patterns as a pathway to greater wholeness and well-being. Coaching, on the other hand, is a future-focused and action-oriented process. It supports you in identifying your goals, building on your strengths, and developing strategies to move forward with clarity and purpose. Please note that coaching is not a substitute for clinical treatment. Eligibility for counseling/therapy is subject to California licensure requirements and professional assessments.
At Awespired, whether you come in seeking insight, growth, or change, I will determine if counseling (therapy) or coaching strategies will best meet your needs. Together we will create a personalized, holistic support plan — designed to meet you exactly where you are and to guide you to exactly where you want to be.
Please note that coaching is not covered by insurance.
Choosing a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) as your coach means you’re working with a professional who brings both clinical skills and a holistic, systems-based perspective to your personal growth. As an LCSW with a background in mental health, emotional regulation, and family systems, and holding an additional Master’s degree in Public Health with a focus on Health Promotion and Health Education, I offer more than surface-level strategies. I bring expertise in mind management, mind-body wellness, and neuroeducation to help you experience sustainable, values-aligned change.
At Awespired, coaching isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s an integrative process rooted in science, soul, and story — supporting you in regulating your mind, aligning your habits, and moving forward with intention and purpose. Whether you're navigating life transitions, parenting challenges, or professional growth, coaching with an LCSW ensures your support is grounded, personalized, and transformative.
Yes — I can absolutely be part of the team that supports your child’s well-being and growth at school. With experience as a district level 504 Coordinator and a Social Worker in Special Education, I believe in close collaboration between students, families and educators in creating clear, simple, and supportive plans to meet a student’s unique needs. Rather than simply advising you to “ask for an IEP or 504,” I will approach the matter from a place of curiosity, knowing that accommodations and services are best when they are customized for the individual student. I will work collaboratively with your child’s school team to better understand your child's specific strengths and the challenges they are experiencing in learning at school. Together as a team, we will identify your child's needs, explore options for available support, and ensure ongoing communication between members — because when families and schools work in partnership, students are more likely to thrive.
At Awespired, I believe that meaningful growth happens not just during sessions, but in the spaces between them. That’s why every session includes a 10-minute check-in, consultation, or care coordination — a touchpoint to reflect, process, and feel supported along your journey or a time for me to communicate with other members of your or your child’s team. Check-ins, consultations, and care coordination is designed to help you:
Process what’s coming up between sessions, celebrate progress and small wins, reinforce skills and insights you're building, feel seen and supported, and help you to coordinate support — especially when life gets busy or overwhelming. Whether it's a quick pep talk, clarifying a strategy, or addressing something unexpected, these moments of connection help keep your work grounded, consistent, and integrated into your daily life.
At this time, I do not accept insurance for counseling/therapy services. Most PPO plans will cover a percentage of counseling/therapy services for providers outside of their network. If you choose to use your out of network benefits, you will be provided with a receipt for mental health services (called a Superbill) that will include all of the information you need to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please note that there is no guarantee that counseling/therapy services will be covered within your specific plan. I do suggest that you contact your health insurance provider for more specifics regarding your mental health benefits.
Coaching services are not covered by insurance at this time.
Fees for Services
At Awespired, our initial counseling or coaching session will be 75 minutes at a rate of $225. This additional time will allow us to mutually identify areas of focus and begin developing a treatment or coaching plan.
Additional counseling or coaching sessions are typically 50 minutes and are $200. All regular sessions include 10 minutes of additional check-ins or consultation support as needed.
The number of counseling or coaching sessions will vary based on your individual needs and goals. While some individuals benefit from short term therapy and coaching (2- 3 months), some require longer support. You’ll receive a written estimate before services begin, and we can continue to discuss your care plan throughout our time working together.
Additional services such as attendance at team meetings, letter writing, and collaboration with health or school providers (beyond 10 minutes) are billed by the hour at a rate of $200/hour.
Clinical supervision services are billed at a rate of $600/month. This includes four, 50-minute sessions, along with paperwork and unlimited consultations, both urgent and non-urgent, throughout the month.
Educational Consultation and Training fees are based on the services provided.
Sliding scale fees, dependent on circumstances, are available on a limited basis.
For counseling/therapy services, under the law, health care providers are required to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of counseling/therapy services. This includes the cost of individual counseling/therapy sessions and any related services.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the charge. For more information regarding your Good Faith Estimate, visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellation of counseling or coaching sessions to avoid a fee. In-person sessions may be changed to telehealth with at least 4 hours notice prior to the session.
You can reach out through our contact page to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. We’ll explore your needs, see if it’s a good fit, and talk through our next steps.
